Support for You
I know firsthand how tough life can get. I’ve lived through challenges like stroke recovery, grief, and personal loss—and I understand how overwhelming it can feel to face those moments alone.

That’s why I offer one-to-one support: not as a polished “expert,” but as someone who has walked a similar path and is here to listen, encourage, and walk alongside you.

I’m currently building on my lived experience with formal training in mentoring and coaching, so I can bring you both real-world understanding and professional tools in the future.

All of my services are priced with affordability in mind, because I believe support should be accessible to anyone who needs it. If you’re looking for a safe, understanding space to share, reflect, and move forward, I’d be honoured to support you.
Life after a Stroke
Life can change in an instant – I know, because it did for me in September 2024 when I suffered an accute stroke resulting in loss of vision.

I offer support for stroke survivors based on lived experience, not formal qualifications.
My aim is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported as you navigate recovery.

How I can help:
-
Emotional Support: A safe, non-judgmental space to share fears, frustrations, and triumphs.

-
Practical Guidance: Tips on navigating medical records, finding consultants, exploring therapies, and adjusting to life after a stroke.

-
Mentorship: Honest insight and encouragement from someone who’s walked a similar path.

Navigating Divorce
Divorce can feel overwhelming, isolating, and life-changing. I married for life—but sadly, it wasn’t to be.
Navigating divorce and the Family Court system can feel like entering a completely new world, and it’s a journey far too many of us experience. I know how confusing and emotionally draining it can be, and I understand the frustration of relying solely on legal advice when, at the end of the day, lawyers are often focused on the business side rather than your wellbeing.

How I can help:
-
Emotional Support: A safe, understanding space to talk about your feelings, fears, and frustrations.

-
Practical Guidance: Insights from lived experience to help you navigate the challenges and decisions that come with divorce.

-
Mentorship & Perspective: Honest advice and support to help you move forward and regain a sense of stability.

If my experience—and the lessons I’ve learned from helping others—can make this difficult journey easier for you, I am here to offer empathetic, practical, and non-judgmental support.

Surviving Grief
Grief is deeply personal, and it stays with us—it’s about learning to live with it, not moving past it.

If my lived experience of grief can help you navigate your own journey, I am here to offer support and guide you to further resources if needed.

What I offer:
-
A Safe Space: A non-judgmental environment to talk openly about your feelings.

-
Listening & Understanding: Someone who truly understands the complexity of loss, offering empathy rather than advice.

-
Guidance to Resources: Direction to additional support if you want or need it.

My goal isn’t to counsel or teach coping mechanisms. It’s simply to provide a listening ear and compassionate presence as you navigate your grief.

Living with Cancer
Cancer affects more of us than we realise – one in two people will face it at some point, either personally or through supporting a loved one. I’ve lived with cancer from a young age. My sister’s first diagnosis when I was 11 shaped much of my childhood. Since then, I’ve supported loved ones through their diagnoses—my sister again, my father, my mother, and a dear friend. I’ve experienced the grief, the fear, and the uncertainty that comes with it.

In 2020, I was diagnosed with carcinoid tumors in my lungs. Through these experiences, I’ve learned coping strategies and ways to stay positive during incredibly challenging times.

How I can help:
-
Emotional Support: A safe, understanding space to talk about your fears and frustrations.

-
Practical Guidance: Insights from lived experience on navigating treatment, care, and the emotional journey.

-
Encouragement & Positivity: Sharing strategies that help maintain hope and resilience.

I’m here to offer empathetic, honest, and practical support—complementing professional care—so you don’t have to face the journey alone.

Living with Addiction
Addiction can feel isolating, but you don’t have to face it alone.
I understand the struggles of addiction firsthand. I used alcohol as a crutch for several years, and I’ve supported friends through their own battles with dependency.

I also spent three years working in a residential rehabilitation centre, trained in the 12 Steps, managing client admissions, and being the first point of contact for both clients and their loved ones seeking help.

How I can help:
-
A Safe Space: A non-judgmental environment to talk openly about your struggles.

-
Practical Guidance: Support and advice to help you—or someone you care about—access the right resources and treatment.

-
Accountability & Mentorship: Regular check-ins to help you stay on track, motivated, and supported.

My support is personal, empathetic, and practical, offering guidance based on lived experience and professional exposure—complementing professional treatment, not replacing it.

Finding the right help for you
Accredited qualifications or not, no single person can fully support everyone.

Talking really is one of the most powerful forms of therapy—no matter the challenge or who you speak to.
What matters most is finding someone you feel you can connect with, a space where you can be fully open and honest.
